We are the Storm are a Swedish rock band formed in Uppsala in 2008. They sprang from the darkness that permeates the city in general and the university – where most of the band members studied at the time – in particular. Shortly thereafter, they released their self-titled debut EP. It was molded after some of the Swedish emotional greats, like Broder Daniel, and caused ripples in the blogosphere.
